• Full of malware

  1 - It's a honest browser: Since the very first use, it shows you the kind of invasive built-in adware you just downloaded 2 - The invasive ads don't come up always, and that's very thrilling since you never know when will it happen

  Full of invasive ads: http://botcrawl.com/how-to-remove-torch-browser/ That's what I found after freaking out with the tabs that it opens when I try to log in my Gmail account Very sad surprise finding out that Download.com had not included this point on their editor's review, and this has completely changed my view of Cnet despite I`ve been using it often since 1999

  Summary

  Right after the installation, the first thing I do is typing www.gmail.com to log in my account, but when I fill in name and password, not only I do not enter, but also a new tab is opened with giant letters: YOUR PC CONTAINS VIRUS Click here to fix the problems. I think "What the hell did I type??" I close that tab, check the spelling, check if I had open any other tab I did not see... Everthing looks ok... "Probably I typed wrong and there is a fake similar domain". So I close the browser, open it again, delete all the temporary files and cookies, and type again: www.gmail.com . This time the new tab tells me what to do If I have problems with my hair. Ok I'm sure this wasnt my fault... I check the tab where I had tried to login for the second time, and session is not even logged... The only thing this creepy browser did for 2 times when I clicked on the "Next" button was opening fraudulent websites on new tabs. The third time tried to login Gmail after closing the browser again, I did log into my account... So, to be honest, I must say that not everything is bad. The 4th time did also work, but the 5th time another ad came up. I have uninstalled it anyway

• Fast easy to use.

  Pros

  Fun to set up, accepts bookmarks from various web browsers. Change font, and color and back ground. It seems to be fast, a lot faster then Opera and doesn't seem to crash like FireFox does on my machine.

  Cons

  Different color of apps at the end of the address bar, hard to read in high bright light.

  I like the browser, does not seem to have the problems other browsers in it's class has.

  Don't use the games at all. Very bad to have. They have little of the screen to use for games. The music is good too but it's just from YouTube.

  Was extremely impresses at first blush. Fast! Many seemingly fun gadgets. An then...

  Cons

  ...it began eating up Chrome, conflicting with my system and devices. Took me a week to sort out. Torch browser woud flood spam at seemingly every shopping site; Amazon, BestBuy, etc., etc, and some other sites, as well. Never ending problem on a Torchified stalled puter, SO...

  Summary

  ...AVOID AT ALL COST. I messaged, posted, tweeted Torch, but not a response. Unconvinced that I had erased all the footprints, I installed Win as soon as I was notified. It's all good now

  yes I had Torch and uninstall it, so I could download the latest version. Now it would download the file but when it comes time to install it, it just keeps coming up can't install because of internet connection problem try again later or cancel. There is no internet connection problem on my end, as all sites work and my little computer dose not have a yellow triangle with a ! on it. I hope Torch deals with this as I like they browser but this is putting me off.

  It is fast & it does look good

  It changes all your web browsers security settings without asking for permission & install's all sorts of plugins & toolbars.

  Summary

  Basically, not enough people actually testing this software fully before writing reviews. I wonder how many infected systems are caused by the short sited reviews especially the editors reviews. This is basically a graphical trojen that changes settings, installs plugins & after a few days use you will notice a big system slow down & full of malware enough to put everything you do on your system at risk. To put it lightly, why bother with a browser like this when you have perfectly good browsers, tried & tested over years of use?

  Pros

  Torrent: the torrent is fast, easy to use, and one of the few that can play audio and video while the torrent is downloading. the rest im sure you already covered, although you are not forced to install ask, merely asked to install ask.

  Cons

  ive yet to encounter any cons, although i admit them asking to install favorite website shortcuts on your desktop is annoying

  Summary

  overall, out of the fifteen browsers ive tried, i prefer torch over most of them, including google chrome. if you are a tech savvy person, id recommend avant ultimate or maxathon, but if you just want a fast, stable browser that is good for general usage, go with torch

• Great quality, just a few bugs

  Pros

  I really love this browser. Since I'm a gamer, the Torch torrent option made everything a lot easier. When I watch videos on YouTube, it never bugs, everything goes smooth. Downloads are also very quick and it's really easy to use Torch. Applications work very fast and it loads webpages quickly, which I prefer, because my laptop is not a new one, so Torch makes surfing quicker.

  Cons

  Like I said, it only has a few bugs. One of them is (it's very similar to Chrome's issues), when I sometimes close the Torch browser's window and try to re-open it, it won't open. I thought it was a problem with my Antivirus, but it wasn't so I had to reinstall Torch. Another con is when I try to load some quizzes or, the best example, BoredPanda's posts, my Shockwave Player crashes. I have never had problems like that on Chrome nor Safari.

  Summary

  Overall, I am very satisfied.
